International Development Projects (IDP) is a U.S. registered 501 (c)(3) non-profit humanitarian organization. IDP consists of professionals and business owners committed to improving the quality of life in the developing world. Headquartered in Bakersfield, California, IDP is actively involved in the countries of Uganda, Kenya, Kyrgyzstan and the Republic of the Marshall Islands.
IDP has been extensively involved in the improvement of public health services in several developing countries. Much of IDP's work has involved the control of communicable diseases, namedly Tuberculosis. This IDP program is called GeoHealth Systems (GHS).
